it’s like a bridge but without the water beneath

There is so much work to be done. I haven’t stopped in what feels like weeks. It has been weeks. I am tired and mildly burned out. Today is Sunday, the supposed day of rest. I’m not resting. I’m here in a coffee shop writing lesson plans for the next three days. I have accomplished approximately nothing in that regard; however, I have drank my weight in coffee.  This coffee shop is funny. It’s one of my favorite places here in Denver. They have power strips everywhere so you can plug in and work on the computer. It’s a great way for me to do my work and feel like I’m not chained to my desk or dining room table. It almost feels like I’m not working. Clearly, I’m not currently working.

I should get back to it.
